Texas Snow

Sorry for the long overdue update! We had a record 10+ inches of snow here in Texas! Too bad Brit, baby girl and I were all sick with a cold. We literally all caught it within 24 hours of each other. Luckily, Brit's didn't last too long, but baby girl and I had it for almost two weeks. Just could shake the cold bug I guess.

Nevertheless, we realized that it may not snow like this for another 30 years, so we wrapped ourselves in as many layers as possible and braved the snow...for about 7 minutes. We wanted to give our baby girl a chance to play in the snow.

We had to battle toget her hat on, and gloves were just near impossible. Being 17 months old, we have entered the "no" phase. Even when we would put gloves on her, she'd take them off. We'll get to enforcing stuff like this a little later, but for now her reasoning isn't quite able to understand that what mommy and daddy says, goes.
